Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 2, 2026

Brimio LLC, doing business as Phoenix Rise Energy ("Phoenix Rise Energy," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website at phoenixriseenergy.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It also covers phone calls and text messages between you and us.

Phoenix Rise Energy helps Arizona homeowners understand whether home solar makes sense for them. If you have any questions about this policy, email us at [email protected].

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to give you a solar savings estimate and follow up with you. We do not ask for more than that, and from your bill we keep only the few figures needed for the estimate.

  • Contact details you give us. Your name, phone number, email address, and home street address when you use our savings estimate tool or contact form, or when you call or text us.
  • Your utility bill, if you choose to upload it. Our estimate tool lets you upload a photo or PDF of your electric bill so we can read your usage automatically instead of asking you to type it in. A bill can contain your utility account number, service address, and past energy use. We treat your account number and bill as sensitive information, and we collect them only to produce your estimate. Uploading is optional. See Section 4 for exactly how the bill image is handled and why we do not keep it.
  • Property and roof information. When you enter your home address, we send that address to Google's mapping and solar services to estimate your roof size, sun exposure, and how many panels might fit. This gives us property and roof estimates tied to your address.
  • Your estimate and the answers you give. Your utility company, your monthly bill amount or energy usage, and the savings estimate we generate for you.
  • Consent records. When you check the box agreeing that we may call or text you, we keep a record of that agreement, including the wording you agreed to and the date and time, so we can show you asked to hear from us.
  • Website usage and analytics. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar tools to see which pages people visit, how they got to our site, and what device and browser they use, so we can improve the site. Our analytics provider may also record a replay of how visitors move through the site. See Section 8.
  • Anti-abuse signals. To stop spam and bots, our forms use a security check that looks at basic signals from your browser and connection.

2. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • create your free solar savings estimate and show you your roof's solar potential;
  • contact you, by phone, text, and email with your permission, to answer questions and help you decide about solar;
  • schedule and confirm appointments with a local advisor;
  • keep records of your consent and your requests;
  • operate, secure, and improve our website and services; and
  • meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations.

3. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell or rent your name, phone number, email, address, or bill to anyone, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

We do share information with the trusted companies that help us run our service. Each one is a service provider that works for us under a contract and may only use your information to do that work for us. Sharing information with them is not a sale of your information. They are:

  • Google (Google Solar API and Geocoding) receives the home address you enter so it can return roof and sun-exposure estimates for your property.
  • OpenRouter processes your utility bill image, if you upload one, using artificial-intelligence vision models so we can read the figures off it. We do not store the bill image on our servers. We send it to OpenRouter, which routes it to an AI model from Anthropic or Google to read it, and we request that it not be retained. We may also send an aerial image of your roof, based on the address you enter, to the same AI service to check whether solar panels are already installed. We do not control these providers' own data practices; see their privacy policies. The image passes through them only to be read; see Section 4.
  • Cloudflare hosts our website and runs the security check on our forms, so it processes basic technical request data.
  • PostHog provides our website analytics and session replay.
  • n8n and Twenty CRM are the tools where your contact details, your address, and your estimate are sent and stored so a Phoenix Rise Energy advisor can follow up with you. These run on our own systems at phoenixriseenergy.net.
  • Resend and Google Workspace help us send and receive email with you.
  • Telnyx is the platform our advisors use to send and receive the text messages you consent to.

We may also share information when the law requires it, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, our company, or the public. If our business is ever sold or reorganized, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction, and we will require it stay protected under terms like these.

Mobile and SMS messaging: your opt-in is never shared

The mobile phone number you provide and your SMS or text-messaging opt-in consent will never be sold, rented, shared, or transferred to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information only with service providers that help us operate (for example, our messaging provider and our CRM), and only so we can communicate with you about your request. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties for any other purpose.

4. Your uploaded utility bill, and why we do not keep it

Uploading your bill is optional. When you do, the image is sent securely to our AI reading service (OpenRouter) only long enough to pull out the numbers we need, such as your utility, your monthly usage, and your bill amount. We then keep those extracted numbers, not the picture. The bill image itself is not saved on our servers, is not written to any database, and is not stored in our logs. In short: we read your bill, we do not keep your bill.

Please note the image does pass through OpenRouter, a third-party AI service, to be read. We do not store the bill image on our servers. We send it to OpenRouter, which routes it to an AI model from Anthropic or Google to read it, and we request that it not be retained. We do not control these providers' own data practices; please see their privacy policies. The same applies to the aerial roof image we may send to check for existing panels. If you would rather not upload your bill, you can simply type your monthly bill amount instead and skip the upload entirely.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep your contact details, your estimate, and your consent records for as long as needed to help you with solar and to meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations, and then we delete or de-identify them. Records of your consent and of any do-not-contact request are kept longer so we can show we honored your choices. As described in Section 4, the uploaded bill image itself is not retained.

6. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections for our forms and limited access to your data. No website or method of transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe. If a data breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by Arizona law.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Stop texts. Reply STOP to any text from us to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
  • Stop calls. Ask any advisor to put you on our do-not-call list, or email us, and we will stop calling you for marketing.
  • Stop everything at once. Use our Do Not Contact page to opt out of all calls and texts in one step. A single opt-out is universal and stops every channel.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link in our emails, or email us, to stop marketing emails.
  • Access or delete your information. You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. Arizona residents and residents of other states may exercise the rights their law provides. To make any request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for the site to work and for analytics through PostHog. PostHog helps us understand how the site is used and may record a replay of a visit so we can find and fix problems. We also automatically record which buttons and links you click on the site. You can control cookies in your browser settings, though turning some off may affect how the site works. We do not use your information for cross-site advertising.

9. Children's privacy

Our website and services are meant for adults who own or are buying a home. They are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other websites

Our site may link to other websites we do not control, such as your utility or a government page. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please read their privacy policies when you visit them.

11. Calls and texts

If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, a Phoenix Rise Energy advisor may call and text you about solar, including by automated or prerecorded means. Consent to these calls and texts is not a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out, reply HELP for help, or use our Do Not Contact page to stop all calls and texts at once, and you can ask us to stop calling at any time. Arizona allows call recording with one party's consent; where another state's law requires it, we will tell you at the start of a call if it is being recorded.

12. Estimates are estimates

Any savings figures, payback periods, or cost ranges we show are estimates for general guidance, not a guarantee of savings or a binding quote. Your actual results depend on your utility, rate plan, usage, roof, system size, financing, incentives, and changes in rates and law over time. Your real numbers come from a detailed review of your specific home and bill.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here with an updated effective date. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on this page.
